HIV Testing

Elizabeth Mthimunye is a trained and qualified HIV Test Practitioner. She has initiated and runs a project to test members of her community for this incurable but manageable disease. She hopes that this will empower them with information about STI's and HIV so that they are able to protect themselves, their loved ones and those around them.

South Africa is among the countries with the highest rates of HIV infection and Elizabeth’s Nest has decided to become one of the many organisations that seek to stop the spread of HIV. She believes that knowledge is power and key to this solution is to inform people of their own HIV status as well as how to protect themselves against the contraction of the disease.

Elizabeth advocates a safe and healthy lifestyle. Her wish is for each and every one of us to reach are our full potential to make the world a better place.
